Teacher Appreciation Week

  • Post Category:News

Dear Washington Families:

Please join us as a community, as we virtually celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week on May 4th, 2020.  Even though we are all remote learning, it is at this time in the school year when we thank our Faculty and Staff for their commitment to education. Our Washington Staff continues to enrich our children’s minds by encouraging them to grow both academically and in character.

This year’s theme is:

A Heartfelt Thanks to our Washington Staff

We will be creating a Virtual Valentine Video and we need YOU to participate.

Please take a horizontal picture of your Washington student making either a “heart sign” with their hands, a “W” sign with their hands or holding up a homemade thank you valentine – be creative! We will then create a video using your photos and send to all of the Washington Community.

Examples:

It is preferred if you please post your picture in this album

Alternatively, you may email your photo to:

teacherweekwashington@gmail.com

Please submit your photos by April 27th.

It’s super easy! Have fun with this!

Now, more than ever, let’s express our appreciation for our Teachers and Faculty who spark our children’s imagination and love of learning.

Thank you for your support of and commitment to Washington School. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us.  Help us send a Heartfelt Thanks to our wonderful teachers.

Sincerely,

Roisin Hamilton & Victoria Amelio
