Thank you to all the Washington students that have signed up to be a part of our  annual V-Show!!   Participants, mark your calendars for these important V-Show dates:

Permission Slips Due

If you haven’t already, please complete the permission slip on the PTO website by Thursday, February 27th.  We need the information from these slips for our program and for email communications. Please include your group name to the form so that we can file these permission slips accordingly.  Here is the link to the form that can be found on our PTO website for all Group and Crew permission forms:

Parent Volunteer Sign Ups Out

We are asking all parents of kids in the show to volunteer 1-2 hours of time to the show effort.  There are many evenings and work at home opportunities so everyone has a chance to be involved, and parents can even sign up for more than 1 volunteer spot if it works with their schedule. Concessions Help Needed

Every year we offer concessions before and during intermission at our VShow performances.  If you have any interest in helping us purchase concession snacks, set up concession table, coordinate concession volunteer shifts and handle money we would be greatly appreciative!  Please contact Jo Ellen Flener at joellenflener@gmail.com if interested.

One More Group Rehearsal Date

Wednesday February 26th 15 min Group Rehearsal Slots from 6:30PM to 8:30PM (Washington)

Group rehearsals at Washington School’s multipurpose room (formerly Auditorium). These rehearsals are not mandatory – group coaches sign up for a day(s) or time(s) if you’d like your group to rehearse in the multipurpose room to get a sense of how much space you will have for the show.  Please see the link below to sign your act up for a 15 minute practice slot.

Music and Technical Requirements Forms Due 

Thursday, February  27th   – Music, Technical Requirements and Electronic Permission Forms Due.  This information is necessary to begin our Vshow program work so please fill this out as soon as possible!  Here is the link, for coaches, to the tech requirements google form:

Gold Decorative Stars Ready for Pick Up and Decoration after Thursday, February 27th

One member from each group is welcome to stop by 701 S. Lincoln Ave. and pick up your group’s Gold Star to decorate (with photos, name of group, etc) and needs to be turned into Washington School by Tuesday, March 3rd.   The Group Stars will be hung up at Washington prior to the big Show and also hung up at Roosevelt during showtime, as well!

Dry Tech Meeting

Monday, March  2nd – Dry Tech Meeting from 6PM – 8PM (Roosevelt Auditorium)

Coaches and producers only – no kids. Coaches will be given a 10 minute slot to discuss any technical needs for your act. Specific times to be sent to coaches at a later date.

Tech Rehearsal

Tuesday, March 10th  – Tech rehearsal starting at 4:30PM (Roosevelt Auditorium) 

Entire cast and crew.  Specific times to be sent to coaches at a later date.

Dress Rehearsal

Thursday, March 12th   – Dress rehearsal starting at 6PM (Roosevelt Auditorium)

Entire cast and crew. Specific times to be sent to coaches at a later date.


Saturday, March 14th   – 2:00PM  SHOW (Roosevelt Auditorium) 

Saturday, March 14th   – 7:00PM SHOW (Roosevelt Auditorium) 

Sunday, March 15th  2:00PM FILMED SHOW (Roosevelt Auditorium)
